About

This library is build around the following three concepts:

  • ManagedObjectWithIDProtocol: a protocol requiring an uniqueID property.

  • ManagedObjectMappingProtocol: a protocol that each NSManagedObject subclass will implement to define how to update itself from a JSON dictionary.

  • ManagedObjectWithIDStore: provides createOrUpdateObjectWithID and findOrCreateObjectWithID convience methods for handling a managedObjectContext.

Usage

To run the example project, clone the repo, and run pod install from the Example directory first.

You will find a small app for adding and updating Persons related to Employers.

  • NSManagedObjectWithID: a NSManagedObject subclass implementing the ManagedObjectWithIDProtocol

  • ManagedPerson: a subclass of NSManagedObjectWithID

  • ManagedPersonMapping: an implementation of the ManagedObjectMappingProtocol for mapping a JSON dictionary to a ManagedPerson.

  • View that enables adding and update persons and employers.
