Overview

QuickCIFilter is a quick way to add CIFilters to UIImages as an extension of UIImageView. This is intended to help add filters easily to pictures without too much complexity. There are more comprehensive and extensive libraries out there for adding custom filters. Please feel free to leave feedback and/or contribute!

Usage

import QuickCIFilter

# UIImageView
let image: UIImage = UIImage(named: "example")
let imageToBeFiltered: UIImageView = UIImageView(image: image)

# Apply filter
imageToBeFiltered.applyFilter(.CIBoxBlur)

# Chain filters
imageToBeFiltered.applyFilter(.CIBoxBlur).applyFilter(.CIVignetteEffect)

Installation

QuickCIFilter is available through CocoaPods. To install
it, simply add the following line to your Podfile:

pod "QuickCIFilter"
